Haberdashery is a design practice using the power of light to create landmark sculpture, innovative products, bespoke lighting and R+D for ambitious architects, interior designers, brands and institutions globally.
Inside the Studio
Haberdashery add value to projects by developing ambitious creative briefs into reality.
Haberdashery was founded by designers Mac Cox, Ben Rigby and Daniel Siden, over a common desire to produce narrative driven design through light. Their ability to master the medium of light has led them to collaborate with some of the worlds leading architects, interior designers, developers, brands and institutions; the practice have now installed 250+ projects in over 30 countries globally.
Haberdashery now offer a growing range of made-to-order collections and a new product range called Evoke, inspired by our memories of found light. The first Evoke product is the Canopy pendant celebrating the light falling through a forest canopy as an animation upon its hand-blown lead-crystal shade. You can see Canopy at the Super Design Show in Milan and the Icon House of Culture at Clerkenwell Design Week.
In 2016 Haberdashery launched Leaf Eddy at Designjunction. Creative Director Ben Rigby spoke to Born about Leaf Eddy, the Haberdashery studio and what’s in store for 2017.
