House of Illustration

2 Granary Square
King’s Cross

House of Illustration is the UK’s first public gallery devoted to illustration.

A registered charity founded by Sir Quentin Blake, it is the place to see, learn about and enjoy illustration in all its forms; from advertisements to animation, picture books to political cartoons and scientific drawings to fashion design.

House of Illustration put on ten exhibitions a year, amplified by a thriving public programme of talks, masterclasses and short courses. They also support emerging talent by commissioning new work, and run a pioneering learning programme led by professional illustrators.
